The cherry blossom season is right around the corner! And in Tokyo, tourists have started to flock.

Tokyo is home to a bunch of cherry blossom spots.

But as you may have guessed, they are all packed to the gills!

That’s why you are looking for this specific guide, right?

Don’t worry!

We’ve got you covered.

Just a disclaimer, though—when we say off-the-beaten, these cherry blossom spots in Tokyo are not really empty.

There’s no such thing in Tokyo, is there?

But jokes aside.

These spots are just less visited by tourists, hence they are on this list.

Without further ado, here are some off-the-beaten-path places to view sakura in Tokyo Metropolis:

1. Zenpuku-ji River Green Park (Suginami City)

Located just on the outskirts of Tokyo Metropolis, this park is home to a 4.2-kilometer green corridor dotted with 700-900 cherry trees.

In spring, these wonderful trees cover the tunnel over the water, making for a picture-perfect scenery.

Zenpuku-ji River Green Park is a popular spot for strolling and biking.

Every spring, this park hosts cherry blossom festivals with food stalls, so you can enjoy local foods while enjoying the season.
