The Tour starts from Meiji Shrine, the most visited shrine in Japan.


Meiji Period (1868-1912) was the most dramatic part of the entire history in Japan. Your tour guide will tell the story of how the Samurai feudal system ended, and how Japanese started to modernize and industrialize the country. 



The Dawn of Tokyo.


Waking through the Meiji shrine, your tour guide will bring you back to late 19 century, the dawn of Tokyo and answer many imnportant questions; how did the Japanese end the Samurai era? How did Japan became one of the powerful countries in the world? How did the Japanese integrate western culture into their lifestyle? This is one of the most exciting periods in Japanese history. 



Tokyo Street Culture.


The tour will move to Takeshita Street, one of the main street culture hubs in Tokyo where you will learn the history of street culture in Tokyo. How did the Japanese people change their fashion style? What is the scene behind the street culture? You will see and learn about the street culture walking through the Takeshita street.



The Future of Tokyo.


The tour will end at Yoyogi Park, near the New & Old National Stadium. The last part of the tour focuses on the Tokyo Olympics. Tokyo held the Olympic Games in 1964, it was one of the important events in Japan after World War II. Why? And why again will Tokyo be holding the Olympic Games again in a few years?
